Smoix

Smoix is set in a rural estate house near the Sant Ignasi hotel on the Ronda Nord, in Ciutadella. Its Mediterranean cooking draws on the island's traditions, with a short menu and two set menus: Smoix and Vegetal, the latter on request. The beef onglet with confit shallot sauce is among the most loved dishes. The restaurant holds a Sun in the 2025 Guía Repsol. Its decorated dining room welcomes family gatherings and group tables with ease.

The restaurant of the Catalonia Mirador des Port, in Maó, faces the port and the bay of the town. The dining room is bright, with direct views over the water; the restaurant serves live cooking at breakfast and dinner from April to September, and evening tapas from October to March. The venue is ideal for large tables: the hotel has two divisible rooms, Nura A and Nura B, which together hold close to 100 people. The events team handles the organisation, including catering.

Binifadet is a winery in the municipality of Sant Lluís, about 500 metres north-east of the village. The estate brings together vineyard visits, tasting and a terrace among the vines, where the menu follows island cooking. The guided visit lasts about an hour and ends with a tasting of three house wines, served with Menorcan goat cheese. To make the most of the moment among the vines, we recommend booking ahead.

Cafè Balear is a seafood restaurant on the harbour of Ciutadella, with a terrace facing the port. Its story goes back to the 1970s, when it served fish and shellfish tapas in a small fishermen's tavern, before moving along the harbour in 1995. The kitchen is built around the day's catch, brought in by the house's own boat. Signature dishes include razor clams, lobster stew and fideuà. The restaurant earned One Sun in the 2025 Guía Repsol. A fine setting for a seaside lunch, on the terrace facing the port or in the dining room. We recommend booking to secure a table where you would like to sit.
