Asador Etxebarri is a wood-fire grill in Axpe, in the Atxondo valley of Bizkaia. The kitchen lets the embers speak: meat and fish cooked over charcoal, served as a tasting menu or à la carte, for the whole table to share. Zortziko is the restaurant of chef Daniel García, set in a late 19th-century townhouse on the Alameda de Mazarredo, near the Guggenheim. Its contemporary Basque cooking is built on local produce and the house's own creations. The restaurant offers several spaces for private hire, from a private room for 6 to 10 guests to the Zortziko room for 45 to 50, plus a wine cellar for 4 to 8 people and a kitchen space for 15 to 30 people with show cooking and tastings.
