Mesón de Cándido is a Segovia institution on the Plaza del Azoguejo, at the foot of the Roman aqueduct. The house is known for its wood-oven roast suckling pig and milk-fed lamb, in a traditional Castilian style. For a group, the restaurant pairs beautifully with a day in the city: a lunch or dinner in view of the aqueduct, after a morning exploring the old town.
