Café de Oriente occupies the former vaulted cellars of the San Gil convent, on the Plaza de Oriente, facing the Royal Palace. Open since 1983, the restaurant serves traditional Spanish and Mediterranean cooking with a modern touch, from timeless classics to more contemporary creations. Its rooms suit family meals, reunions of friends and business gatherings. Private spaces, several group menus and a catering service let you shape an event that feels entirely your own.
