The Albaicín, a Moorish quarter listed as a World Heritage site together with the Alhambra, is best explored on foot, through paved lanes and small squares that open onto lookouts. On the other side of the hill, the Sacromonte keeps the memory of its Gypsy community and of houses carved into the rock.
The walk crosses both neighbourhoods and reaches the Mirador San Nicolás, facing the Alhambra, for sunset. On a clear evening the light turns the fortress walls gold, with the Sierra Nevada in the background. An accredited guide leads the group and leaves time for photos.
For a company group, the walk pairs well with dinner, a flamenco show or a visit to the Alhambra. Our team adapts the route to the size of the group.
Objectives
- Understand Granada's history, between Moorish heritage and Gypsy culture
- Watch the sun set in front of the Alhambra
- Open a group day or evening with a walk through the city
How it works
- 1Meet at the starting point with an accredited guide.
- 2The walk is on foot over sloping ground, with some steps and narrow lanes.
- 3Arrival at the Mirador San Nicolás before sunset, according to the season's timing.
- 4Return to the centre on foot or by taxi, depending on the programme.
Good to know
- Flat shoes are recommended: slopes and uneven paving.
- Sunset depends on the weather. If the sky is overcast, we offer an alternative.
- Beyond fifteen people, we plan two guides so the group stays together in the lanes.

Frequently asked questions
Is the walk suitable for guests with reduced mobility?
The walk includes slopes, steps and uneven paving. For a group with mobility needs, we adapt the route, favouring flatter streets and transport by vehicle.
Can we have dinner after the walk?
Yes. We can finish with dinner in the centre or in the Albaicín, booked together with the rest of your programme.
