- High-speed train from Madrid, under half an hour
- Guided visit of the imperial city: Jewish, Muslim and Christian monuments, and works by El Greco, with a dedicated guide
- Lunch at Venta de Aires, Paseo del Circo Romano, with a group menu
- Return to Madrid late afternoon. Comfortable shoes are recommended for the old town, which is steep and cobbled
