The Penedès, about fifty kilometres south-west of Barcelona, is the land of cava. The Torres estate, based in Pacs del Penedès, welcomes groups all year round, every day by reservation. Its visit of about an hour and a half combines a presentation film about the family, a guided walk through the Mas La Plana vineyard and a tasting.
The visit is held in Catalan, Spanish or English, and other languages are possible on request. For a group, it fits into a half-day with lunch in the region, or extends to a stop in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, where the large cava cellars are concentrated.
